    • For Switzerland 11-digit codes were introduced. Every 8-digit Swiss tariff number has a 3-digit statistical key. Some statistical keys are different for Import and Export.
      The country code for
      -- Switzerland Import is CH and for

      country code will be used.

    • The new "pharmaceutical agents" 11-digit Swiss codes are assigned based on a lookup in the FDA's Orange Book and Green Book.

    • For Chapter 32 "TANNING OR DYEING EXTRACTS; tannins and their derivatives; dyes, pigments and other colouring matter..." the 3200 code has been corrected to the 3204 heading code.

    • JP_Exp country code for 'Japan Export' was changed to JP_EXPORT.

    • Some new solvents were added to the solvents (removable fragments) dictionary: dichloromethane, chloroform, trifluoroethanol, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone. These solvents are not considered as mixture components of chemically defined structures.

    • Now mixtures of chemically defined structures (according to the World Customs Organization's descriptions) in subheadings 3824.8 and 3824.9 and heading 3827 get their Chapter 38 codes.
    • Salts - as most of them are defined in Chapter 29 - and some common solvents are not considered as mixture components.
    • Please note that assigning codes from Chapter 38 also requires using the latest cHemTS software (version 22.11.0).
