In a version level amendment (VLA) all type of changes, involving isotopes, charges or salts/solvates, converting structures to multi-component compounds, adding CSTs or additional data are allowed.
When amending a version, the structure and all lots that belong to it will be always moved to another (new or matched) tree and new version and lot level Ids (CN, LN) will be received.
In the case when the amendment was initiated from a version structure and there are no matches to the modified structure an empty Suggestion list will appear where the new structure is displayed as a "New compound" (similarly as it is in the case of Parent level amendment). By clicking the [Register as selected] button, the structural change will be saved and all the lots that belong to the modified version will be moved under a new parent tree receiving new Ids.
{info} If you perform a structural change on version level you may need to perform an additional data change as well on the lot level in order to have the correct generated fields (e.g. lot level IUPAC name).
Stereoisomer, tautomer or tautomer&stereoisomer matches, if available, are displayed on the right side of the Suggestion list. All the lots that belong to the modified version will be moved under a new parent tree receiving new Ids.
New Ids will be received, if "New compound" is chosen before clicking the [Register as selected] button. If a suggested structure is chosen, all the lots that belong to the modified version structure will be moved under the chosen version structure and will receive new Ids.
Currently, editing compounds on version level that are part as components of multi-component compounds is not allowed.
The amendment of multi-component compounds is allowed. The lots that belong to the modified version will be moved under a new parent tree receiving new Ids.
