Structure Sheet Options

    In JChem for Excel, chemical structures are stored on a hidden structure sheet. With this option group, the properties of this worksheet can be specified.

    The figure below shows the structure sheet options of JChem for Excel.

    Structure Sheet

    Auto Clear Structure Sheet

    If you delete a structure from your active worksheet, it can be still remembered on the hidden structure sheet in an encoded format.

    By using this option, you can specify whether you like to permanently remove the deleted structures from the hidden sheet or not.

    The possible values for this option are as follows:

    • Default

    • On

    • Off

    The default value of this option is Default.

    {info} Structures that are permanently removed from the hidden sheet cannot be converted back from the hash code.

    Structure Sheet Type

    Use this option to specify the default structure sheet type.

    The available types are as follows:

    • Normal

    • AutoRepaired

    The default value of this option is Normal.
